Main Article Content
Abstract
The achievement of the National Curriculum Guidelines for Quilombola School Education in 2012 by the Quilombola Movements established guidelines for the operation of schools in rural and urban quilombola communities in Brazil. Based on the dialogue with some normative frameworks, such as Law 10.639 / 03 and the National Curricular Guidelines for the Education of Ethnic-Racial Relations and for the Teaching of Afro-Brazilian and African History and Culture (2004), how memory / orality and the teaching of History can be configured as a tool to elaborate or express intellectual sovereignty and help in the development of these communities?
