RELIGION AND HERITAGE: THE APPROPRIATION OF THE INTANGIBLE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF MAZAGÃO VELHO-AP BY THE SCHOOL
Main Article Content
Abstract
The text analyzes the challenges and tensions that constitute the common resistance in the application of Law 10.639/03, in the town of Mazagão Velho, in Amapá. Although it has a vast repertoire of cultural traditions passed on from generation to generation, the elements of this group are absent from the didactic pedagogical contents of the only school in the state public school in the community. Faced with this absence, the need arose for instrumentalisation of the school community for the construction of a curriculum capable of dialoguing with the cultural context of the village. Therefore, the study presented here is about the experience of conducting a collaborative research in 2014, in the town of Mazagão Velho. In addition to promoting training workshops and reflection of the educators, the research added to the initial kick-off of a curricular proposal in keeping with the cultural context of the community.
