Main Article Content
Abstract
To contribute to the improvement of Brazilian education, one of the ways is to expand the didactic possibilities that may strengthen the collaborative processes of teaching and learning, though, for example, the formation of teacher-authors and authors-students that may act with Afro-ethnomathematics proposals, supported by information and communication technology resources. Rethinking ways to teach in Basic Education is not only for the application of Law 10639/03 and Law 11.645 / 08, but to rethink what are the values that the Brazilian society wants, which type of citizen we will be forming: what values we are reviewing and what we will be contributing to discussing racism in our society. The challenges of incorporating African history, culture and knowledge into the school curriculum are great, but we cannot let the difficulty be an impediment to such actions, in this conception this work comes to collaborate with these discussions.
