Abstract
O principal objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um estudo qualitativo, acompanhado de uma discussão teórica que trata dos desafios estruturais e pedagógicos da educação das relações étnico-raciais (ERER) no campo do ensino e da divulgação de ciências físicas (astronomia) e sociais aplicadas (museologia) como um dispositivo didático-pedagógico para ampliar o debate sobre a decolonização das ciências. A partir da análise de artigos, documentos e outras fontes oficiais da União Astronômica Internacional, e tendo os céus como referência, amplio, a partir dos exemplos analisados, a percepção de como os céus podem ser encarados como patrimônios históricos, culturais e naturais da humanidade, sem perder de vista as formas com as quais as narrativas sobre eles e a noção de patrimônio no âmbito da astronomia moderna e contemporânea têm sido cosmofóbicas.
