TRAINING PATHWAY OF A BLACK INTELLECTUAL BASED ON NEABI (UENF)

Abstract
From the first-person narrative I address issues related to the formative process of a black woman intellectual from a perspective of Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations. This work is the result of my professional and academic experiences, as well as reflecting collective efforts for the preparation of the Dossier: “10 years of NEABI-UENF. The objective is to highlight the possibilities and challenges of an anti-racist education from the implementation of the Law 10.639/2003 in Brazilian educational institutions. Therefore, I problematize the asymmetries generated by racism and sexism in our society. The consolidation of collaborative educational tools and practices that point to other ways of thinking and producing knowledge about the social world. Such a debate raises the need for an ethical-political commitment with the anti-racist and anti-sexist struggle for society as a whole.
