Abstract

The article is the result of a lecture entitled “Childhood in Terreiro”, given by the authors, as part of the Network of Conversations Event, organized by the Nucleus of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies of the NEABI/UENF, held at the October 2020, by videoconference. In the text we try to approach the concepts of experience in Vigotski, and of sensitive listening, according to the experience of Reggio Emillia as a relevant contribution to the field of Ethnic Relations Education and, to the field of childhood, in a broader sense, pointing out different methodological possibilities. that expand the dialogue with the Afro-descendant child / Terreiro child.
