IF I AM, I NEED TO SAY WHY I AM: THE TRAJECTORY OF A BLACK WOMAN, ACTIVIST AND SHAREHOLDER
Main Article Content
Abstract
: This article seeks to present how the denial and invisibility of black identity affects the intellectual development of the black population. Thus, the objective is to report experiences lived in my personal and academic trajectory, based on memories and remembrance that made me the woman I became today: black, militant and university student. Using the resources of narratives from memory, I go through the territories and historical facts of my life trajectory in education, in the struggles organized in the black movement, in particular the campaigns for the application and consolidation of affirmative action at federal universities and at UNILAB.
