Abstract
O presente número da Revista ABPN é resultado direto dos temas e desafios subjacentes ao lugar que o ensino de história ocupa na formação de futuros professores e professoras na Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP), Campus Guarulhos. No segundo semestre de 2016, a releitura dos escritos de Joel Rufino dos Santos, em especial do artigo “Livros didáticos: um mal necessário?” publicado, em 1987, no Cadernos de Pesquisa, n. 63, da Fundação Carlos Chagas, “Raça Negra e Educação”. Impulsionaram a reflexão sobre os vínculos entre ensino de história e educação paras as relações étnico-raciais para outra temporalidade, outros temas, outras lutas, outras pautas.
