Abstract
This text discusses part of the doctoral research linked to the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, during 2014 and 2018. It is an interdisciplinary study that aims at understanding how children feature knowledge and actions, transforming the daily life into a playful and learning activity for the strengthening of the culture of the quilombola territory, as well as the construction of identity. For this purpose, an ethnography was performed during eight months of an uninterrupted stay and two years of intermittent permanence. Theorists that contributed to this analysis: Brandão (1985), Botega (2006), Clifford (2002), Cohn (2005,2013), De Oliveira (1998,2006, 2010), Estrela (2006), Geertz (1999, 2014), O’dwyer (2007), Peirano (2017), Rocha &Tosta (2013) and Souza (2015).
