IS THERE AN EFFECTIVE PRACTICE LAW 10.639 / 03 IN SPACE SCHOOL?
Main Article Content
Abstract
Social relationships built in our country are marked by many tensions. Talk about these categories is to humanize the contemporary realities, especially the dynamic relationships and persistent inequalities involving African-Brazilian descent. The article presents an experience developed by members of the Núcleo de Pesquisa Roda Griô-GEAfro (Gender, education and afro-ancestry) in II Week Afro-cultural of Santo Agostinho College, moment in which they discussed the Affirmative Action Policy, the Law 10.639/03 and its implication in the school environment. The debate was guided by the discussion of the law establishing the obligation of the study of African and Afro-Brazilian culture. So we based our study on authors such as Castro (2008), Silva (2008), Cavalleiro (2008), among others, understanding that discussions must continue, because the person's training process is in constant change and social conflicts that could lead to dialogue and humanization.
