Main Article Content
Abstract
The school has always been places marked by the presence of young and often interpreted by them as a boring environment, with the characteristic of standardize behavior and education. To the school community, the problem of learning and discipline is focused on youth. However, the problems that are known in the school environment cannot be reduced only to learning, and there are challenges in the relationship between young people who constitute the school environment. In this sense, this work arises with attempting to understand how the relationship between young people in the school environment is, and how young black men with quotas are seen and treated in this environment. For this, we selected the CEFET/RJ institution, Maracanã unit, in order to understand how the implementation of quotas policy - founded by law 12.711/2012 - is being experienced by students in the institution.
