Abstract
This work aims to make a discussion inspired by the texts and debates raised in the discipline Anthropology of Education of the Graduate Program in Anthropology of UFSC. I intend to bring the categories discussed in the room, as a child, learning, and therefore also reflect on the notion of education, knowledge and knowledge, thinking from the space of worship to Iansã (Santa Barbara) professed by the Mota and Assis family in Aguada, Carmópolis / Sergipe, where the presence of Afro-Brazilian culture is intense and intensified. I also start from my experience as a member of this family and also from the cult, seeking to perceive the children and their experiences from this point of interlocution. The objective is to discuss how children's participation in the space of worship is, how they observe, experience and take that reality to themselves, thus creating a learning process about being, and about what is to be an integral part of an African matrix cult .
