Abstract

This article deals with the systematization of the pedagogical work on Afro Brazilian Body Culture and the materialization in Physical Education classes at Marcílio - CEMD State College, Salvador - BA. The foundation was based on Afro-Brazilian civilization values and the theoretical assumptions of Historical-Critical Pedagogy and the Methodology of Teaching Physical Education - Critical-Overcoming, with the objective of consolidating actions that materialize Law 10.639 / 03 and provide access to this knowledge historically denied Brazilian education in a non-folklorized way. Thus, Physical Education classes at CEMD aimed to recover elements of the ontogenesis of Afro-Brazilian Culture that were historically subsumed by Eurocentrism in its organization of pedagogical work at school.
