Abstract

This paper proposes, from the point of view of remembrance, to narrate an experience of educational practice from the cultural expression of carimbó with the project of literacy Carimboletrando, developed in a school on the outskirts of Belém / PA, on the perspective of an intercultural decolonial and anti-racist pedagogy complying the law (still in effect at the time) 10.639/03 which greatly contributes to the unveiling of the racist look at the history and culture of African origin. Dialoging with theorists about the coloniality of knowledge to allow the construction of a critical and reflective thought on the narratives of the unique and homogenizing history that limit glances and silence other histories, social, cultural practices, knowledge not recognized by the current system, but in resistance.
