MULTICULTURALISM: A SONG IN THE MATA ECOOU THE KNOWLEDGE THROUGH THE ORALITY, JOKES, MUSICS AND PROSE
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents results of experiment aimed at the implementation of Federal Law 10.639/03, in an educational unit of Early Childhood Education of the Florianópolis Municipal Education Department. The actions carried out sought to present to children with age between 4 and 5 years old, ontologies and worldviews from African cultures and knowledge, unlike the latent Eurocentric monocultural vision in curricula. This pedagogical practice emerged from the perspective of multiculturalism, thus envisaging thinking about a pedagogy of antiracist character difference. The results show that children have appropriated knowledge and through different languages it is possible to break with attitudes that lead to the formation of prejudices and previous negative ideas related to identities and cultures.
