THE SOCIAL REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT BLACK KIDS IN SCHOOL CONTEXT

Abstract
This article aims to analyse the social representations about black kids in school context. The study sets up in a qualitative approach to the application of bibliographical research, based on the theoretical framework of Moscovici (1978, 2015), Jodelet (1989), Gomes e Araújo (2014), Cavalleiro (2005, 2017), Feitosa (2012), Costa (2013) and Santos (2009). The results show that the social representations about the black children presente dichotomy between racist practices and mechanisms anti-racist in school. The speeches contained in laws nº 10.639/2003 and nº 11.645/2008 are conspicuous by their appreciation of the black in the brazilian societiety. It is concluded that there is a need for progress in the field of education for the ethnical-racials relations, especially on the effectiveness of polices that ensure the History and Afro-brazilian and African Culture as means of afirmation of black kids at school.
