Abstract

This article discusses a social and chemical theme, the main objective was to use the theme "capillary chemistry" as a guideline, in order to approach it outside the academy, and with this, raise discussions about daily life and social perspectives. An intervention at the event called EncresKids was held, with the talk wheel being a methodological instrument of the research. The obtained data were transcribed and analyzed through Discursive Textual Analysis (DTA). From the results, a text was obtained that approached smoothing and hair chemistry, health and the beauty dictatorship, as well as ethnic-racial aspects covered in the investigation. The work developed shows that biases adopted in this research can bring positive results to society, as well as allowing similar debates to be delivered in non-formal spaces and within the classroom, by the academic community.
