Main Article Content
Abstract
Since we believe that it is the responsibility of higher education institutions to seek solutions to social, historical and contemporary problems, this study used quantitative and qualitative surveys to investigate strategies for continuing education of post-graduate students in the course in Ethno-Racial Relations and Education at CEFET/ Rio de Janeiro. The concept of continuing education constructed in the course demonstrated that preparing teachers and administrators to deal with intercultural diversity requires, among other factors, a critical vision of school processes and appropriate use of new technologies. The objective of this concept is to contribute to the use of technological resources which facilitate the discussion of culture.
