Abstract

The article synthesizes research about the possibility of the virtual environment for teaching and learning to be a space for educational practice from the theses gun theory and dialogism of Amilcar Cabral and Paulo Freire, respectively. Starting from the hypothesis that the relationship between these concepts is effective when the assimilated is rooted again in their culture and abandon the culture of the invader, from qualitative methodology were analyzed the responses of students of Virtual UNB in 2004. As conclusion it is highlighted that a relationship of affective nature, as proposed by Paulo Freire, can occur in a space with a virtual mediation, since the participants are not extremely numerous as to make it difficult for everyone to know. Finally, the fundamental factor, if not determining, from Amilcar Cabral, is a political attitude, as the participants' interest in opting for this kind of relationship, which consequently leads to loving dialogue that can break the bonds of domination.
