THE PRODUCTION OF DIDACTIC-PEDAGOGICAL MATERIAL AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW IMAGINARY ABOUT THE AFRO-BRAZILIAN AND INDIGENOUS CULTURE

Abstract
This article presents the production process of didactic material about afro-Brazilian and indigenous history and culture that must necessarily be worked in schools as provided for in the Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação nº 9394, de 1996. Seeks to initiate reflections about the construction of a new imaginary of these cultures through material that recognize the multiple forms of resistance of these groups in the constitution of Brazilian society. The methodology used in the production of the books was based on the collaborative conception and has as its principle the critical dialogue between the authors. Was taken as referential guide the critical theories of education and the principles of the new history and social history, articulating the defense of an inclusive education that is based on the conception of human rights, respect for difference and the questioning of the production processes of inequality.
