ANGUSTIES AND POWERS: THE DEVELOPMENTS OF THE BLACK WOMAN IN THE FRONT OF OPPRESSIONS IN THE ACADEMIC FIELD LOS DESARROLLOS DE LA MUJER NEGRA FRENTE A LAS OPRESIONES EN EL CAMPO ACADÉMICO
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research arises from the discomfort of seeing the silencing of the powers of black women in the academic field, being portrayed only as victims of oppression, while their
powers are ignored. As a general objective, we intend to analyze the impact of silence on the subjectivity of the black subject and the elaboration of this silence in action. Based on the experience and literature review of black authors, the incidences of intersectionality of oppressions at the university, in the school environment and in the self-image of black women are perceived. Resistance and political-affective organization were some of the strategies for the elaboration of anguish and silencing, highlighting the individual and collective capacity to fight against racism, sexism, classism, and others.
