Abstract
What is meant by academic writing in (auto)biographical and narrative research-education? Which format(s) can this writing take in the process of elaborating the academic genres of Monograph, Dissertation and Thesis? In this article, I intend to reflect, using the (auto)biographical method, anchored in the writings of Josso (2010), Ricoeur (1994; 2010; 2016; 2014), Bakhtin (2020; 2006), Nóvoa; Finger (2010) and Bragança (2012; 2018), among others, on these issues, resorting to a dialogue with the Educational Memorial by João Jesus (JESUS, 1997): “Peasants”, as well as with my own writings: excerpts from my travel diary that will form part of my thesis text, which is under construction.
