ETHNO-RACIAL RELATIONS IN ACADEMIC RESEARCH ON ANGRA DOS REIS, RIO DE JANEIRO

Abstract
The debate on ethnic-racial relations is necessary to understand the structure of Brazilian social thought, and to support the construction of anti-racist public policies. The "State of the Art" articles help to map references of finished researches, provoking investigative assumptions. The objective of this "State of the Art" article was to analyze academic productions mapped from the Capes Theses and Dissertations Database and understand the disposition of the debate on ethnic-racial relations in Angra dos Reis, southern coast of Rio de Janeiro. The network connectivity of this research enabled us to compose a comprehensible corpus of analysis.The political representativeness of the ethno-racial resistance movements was present in the researches, by understanding the urgencies that affect the daily life of populations racially excluded from the democratic process.
