APPROACHES TO THE DEBATE ABOUT SUICIDE AMONG BLACK ADOLESCENTS AND YOUNG PEOPLE IN BRAZIL
Main Article Content
Abstract
Recent data reveal alarming numbers about the suicide of black adolescents and young people in Brazil. More than numbers, they are trajectories interrupted by ending their own life. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the importance of discussing suicide. Certainly, this difficult, delicate, complex, sensitive, enigmatic theme cannot be reduced to the act itself, since it involves several other meanings and signifiers, especially in a society structurally plagued by the threads of racism.
