Reverence to culture: the ballet of the master-room couple and banner-holder in school physical education

Abstract
The samba schools are part of the everyday life of the people of Rio de Janeiro, in this way, they offer numerous elements that can be sources of studies in the most diverse areas. The ballet of the master-room and flag-bearer couple is inserted in this context, and its peculiarity makes it a powerful tool to aid in the physical education of the school. The couple's dance, besides the physical and emotional benefits that a physical activity provides, allows for discussions and learnings related to social relations, gender, political, historical issues, among others. To enable students to insert in their learning process questions related to their experiences and experiences helps in the aspects of affection, identity, belonging and cultural value.
