THE ETHNIC-RACIAL DIMENSION IN THE TRAINING AND INTERVENTION OF SOCIAL ASSISTANTS: AN OPEN DEBATE

Abstract
The article presents reflections made by the Ethnic-Racial Relations Study Group and the Social Service (GERESS) in 2014 regarding the gap in professional training on race. The history and objectives of GERESS as a space of struggle and resistance are highlighted. It add resses the ethno-racial dimension and professional intervention and updates the challenge sposed by the profession in the fight against racism.
