Abstract

In the ritualistic practice the chant weaves dance and the rhythm of tambus cradles the body in learning. The speech of the eldest, whether captain or master, restores ancestral memories and learning, which the meanings order the coherent time for its transmission. Gradually the new goldfish - in this essay we conceive the child's meaning given to the term by Captain David, from Candombe Lapinha - begins to learn how to manage the tide (sing-play-dance), all at the same time, but in phases and continuous times. During the closure of ritualistic activities of Candombe linked to the Rosary worship and celebrations, we were able to experience when the elders teach the young how to conduct the danced-chant of Candombe instruments.
