GOLD, NICKEL, CONGOS AND THE AFRICAN DIASPORA IN GOIÁS: LAW 10639 IN CHEMISTRY EDUCATION
Main Article Content
Abstract
The proposal of this research is to present the cultural legacies left by blacks and those who had their specialized and enslaved workmanship in the gold mines when the present state of Goiás appeared and in particular the city of Niquelândia. These blacks, when they arrive here, as in the Diaspora, reinvent a new world, create a shared identity for all members of the community, define, deepen, and strengthen their ties with each other and with their ancestry. And one of the ways to do this resignification is through the Congadas. Thus we present a research, with a view to the implementation of law 10.639/03 in the teaching of chemistry, where we contextualize the cultural legacy left by the Africans and their descendants in the city of Niquelânida and the extraction of nickel, discovered after the decay of Gold, in that city.
