CONQUEST OF RIGHTS, TEACHING OF SCIENCES/BIOLOGY AND THE PRACTICE OF SANGRIA BETWEEN THE REMETU-KEMI AND PEOPLES OF THE CONGO/ANGOLA REGION: A PROPOSAL OF ARTICULATION FOR THE CLASSROOM
Main Article Content
Abstract
Law 10639/2003 completed 14 years in 2017. This public policy was regulated in 17 Brazilian states and generated a series of developments: new laws and resolutions, which have contributed both to the discussion of ethnic-racial relations and to the insertion of the black population in the world of work, through the reservation of vacancies. The text presents Biology as one of the areas of knowledge that can contribute to the debate on education related to race relations, thus, confirming a CNE proposal of 1996. This production presents the Ancient Egypt (Ta-netjeru), as well as the medical practice carried out by the remetu-kemi - especially the sangrias (Ith) -, as an activity carried out by other African peoples, which may enter the classroom, through an interdisciplinary action involving Biology and History.
