RELEASING KITES AS A FORM OF CARE: A BLACK ART OF LIVING

Abstract
The present article brings forth some reflections on the mental health production of the Brazilian black population based on its relationship with popular knowledge and urban development. With this purpose, the authors share the experience of one of them as a therapeutic companion for a group of young users at a CAPSII (Psychosocial Care Center), located in a city in the interior of the State of Rio de Janeiro, highlighting the kite as a valuable tool for care in this process.
