Abstract

The year 2020 was marked by the pandemic of COVID-19, which brought with it the need for social isolation to contain the spread of the virus. This resulted in the use of cyberspace for meetings that used to be face-to-face, generating the need to adapt to this new reality. With this, the Nucleus for Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies (NEABI) of the North Fluminense State University Darcy Ribeiro (UENF) needed to rethink its practices. Thus, in order to promote relaxed academic dialogues during the pandemic, NEABI held virtual meetings entitled Network of Conversations, between the years 2020 and 2021. Thus, this experience report aims to detail the organization of this project, from its construction to the results observed over these two years.
