Abstract

This research is a report on experiences from a social movement that started in the city of Campos dos Goytacazes, inside Rio de Janeiro state, which began with a group of women who wanted to discuss and create a support network to praise self-esteem and the self -image of black women, but through the years achieved narratives, political spaces, and left symbolic and real marks throughout the whole city when they shared their experiences of racism and living that cross their bodies.
