THE BLACK FEMALE POETICS IN CHILDREN AND YOUTH LITERATURE: ART AND LIFE
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this article we seek to present literary voices of black female authorship, expanding the spaces of resignification of the place of black subjects in the various forms of valorization of blackness. This commitment to affirm humanity in the poetic, aesthetic and everyday dimension of black people reaches the particularity of the black woman's world, especially in the female authorship in contemporary children's literary works. The intention is not to list specific literary works or authors to expand the reader's repertoire, especially black children and young people. In our approach, we seek to highlight the authorship of 5 (five) black women with literary narratives that point paths, like a compass that guides navigators in the context of the anti-racist struggle. The reflections are based on studies of racial relations in the school space and literature in the dimension of African and Afro-Brazilian culture.
