Environmental Racism and Geography: a possible approach?

Abstract
This article aims to debate the phenomenon of Environmental Racism in its essentially geographic content. Pointing out issues such as: geographical production in relation to the theme; Brazilian and North American particularities; its geographicity and dimension of analysis. In order to qualify the analysis of the phenomenon in the denunciations of the socio-environmental impacts that ethnic, traditional and colored populations have been suffering. Understood that the starting point of this relationship needs to be the conflict, which is the central category that reveals the process is the territory.
