Abstract
This article is based on the final result of the end-of-course work in Library and Information Science at the Universidade Federal de São Carlos SP. A micro-thesaurus was developed for the library of the Nucle for Afro-Brazilian Studies (NEAB - UFSCar). The objective of this paper is to present how the micro-thesaurus was developed in the themes 'Afro-Brazilian Culture and Ethnic-Racial Relations', which aims to provide terminological support in the representation of concepts and, especially, of the items that the library has.
