RAP A CULTURA DA RESISTENCIA PELA VIVENCIA E POESIA – UM ENSAIO SOBRE O ÁLBUM “HISTÓRIAS DA MINHA ÁREA” DO RAPPER DJONGA
Main Article Content
Abstract
Abstract:
The present work proposes to analyze RAP as a resistance tool that works through experiences and letters embedded in a “BEAT”. The “RAP” emerged within the HIP HOP movement that started in the 70's on the outskirts of New York, more precisely in the Bronx, created by Jamaican immigrants.
The RAP (Rhythm and Poetry) mixes electronic beats known as BEATS, and lyrics, which most of the time report the daily life of the peripheries, bringing a historical load. Because it is a mostly black culture, pieces of history and resistance of the black people are reported in different letters, this being the most interesting part of this work, having their studies based on the latest album by rapper Djonga “Histórias da Minha Área”.
