Abstract
Abstract: The purpose of this article is to present reflections on the concept of genocide, as well as the context in which it arose and how it has developed throughout history. From the twentieth century, a period marked by many deaths, to the current Brazilian reality in which the term is used to refer to the death of young black-peripheral subjects, one perceives the need to critically analyze the construction of the term related to the facts present. That is, the Brazilian case is about genocide?
