Abstract

With the difficulty of access to public policies by Quilombo Grotão, besides the constant fight for the territory, the CPT Araguaia/Tocantins has supported the community. Among the actions that have gained importance lately is the articulation with entities that articulate technologies with social inclusion. In 2019, with the start of the Ubuntu project in Grotão, a greater diversity of social technologies was implemented, and this has required the community to quickly appropriate many technologies, generating autonomy in the food production system, food sovereignty, financial return, as well as conflicts with some partner entities. In this sense, this text aims to analyze how social technology can help strengthen Quilombola struggles, besides generating conflicts with partner entities, especially in the second half of 2018 and first half of 2019.
