THE AFRO-DESCENDANTS IN FACE OF LATIN AMERICAN RACISM: ETHNIC AUTHORING AND ENDORRACISM

Abstract
Experiencing racial discrimination has important consequences in the life of the subjects, therefore, the article proposed to approach analytically the reactions of the racialized subject and the consequences of racial discrimination in Latin America and the Caribbean. To achieve the objective an electronic questionnaire was applied to one hundred people of African descent, the Critical Discourse Analysis (ACD) was the method of analysis of the information and approach to the cognitive experience, which allowed us to identify that among the reactions of people of African descent Those who experience racial discrimination highlight: the acceptance of stigma, that is, ethnic self-recognition; but also the rejection, the denial of their ethnic heritage and the distancing of their group of origin, a phenomenon known as endoracism.
