This work reflects on the non-neutrality of white identity in relation to the problem of racism and the establishment of recurring racial inequalities, and discusses whiteness as a legacy that results in privileges for individuals categorized as white. We conclude that white identity, because of their own training process, is closely linked to the emergence and maintenance of racial inequalities in the current society.
