THE BICENTENARY OF INDEPENDENCE AND DIFFERENTIATED ETHNIC-RACIAL CITIZENSHIP OF AFRICAN-COLOMBIANS, PALENQUEROS AND RAIZALES
Main Article Content
Abstract
With the backdrop of the Independence of Colombia, the article presents a reflection about the meanings and possibilities of differentiated ethnic-racial citizenship of African-Colombians, palenqueros and raizales. The criticism is directed not only to liberal republican citizenship, but also to the paradoxes reproduced in the Constitution of 1991 and the attitude of African-Colombiam social movements in the face of the current challenges to anti-racist struggle in the country.
