Abstract
Since 2009, we have a National Policy on Integral Health of the Black Population (PNSIPN), but we don‘t an agency responsible for its implementation in health institutions. Objective. Present considerations that justify the creation of a technical area of the black population health, the Ministry of Health to formulate actions that consider the ethnic-racial dimension in Brazilian health policy, aiming the implementation of PNSIPN. Methodology. Analysis report and literature review. Results. The not implementation of PNSIPN justify the creation of the technical area by the necessity to conduct the confrontation of institutional racism in line of care, among other measures. Conclusions. Urges the creation of a Technical Area of the Black Population Health at the Ministry of Health to formulate and lead the actions that consider the ethnic-racial dimension in health care, as well as the implementation of PNSIPN with consequent reduction of inequities and ethnic disparities in health.
