THE MUSEUM OF ARTS AND CRAFTS AS A POSSIBILITY OF IMPLEMENTATION OF THE LAW 10.639/03

Abstract
This article discusses the possibility of application of the Law 10.639/03 at the museum of arts and crafts, which contains the insertion of the African culture in the schools of Brazil, in the Museum of Arts and Crafts, a non-formal space of learning, in which learning occurs in accordance with the sociocultural and historical context of the individuals. The museum as educational environment has the potential to provide a communication between the individuals through the patrimony and memory registers. Thus, this environment can influence changes in the concepts, ideas and important and new discoveries. Therefore, the discussion presented in this article intends to analyze how the Museum of Arts and Crafts can contribute to the teaching and learning of content related to Law 10.639/03.
