Abstract
In the present article we present the African Studies in the diaspora perspective, having as reference the Africanism. The concept of diaspora is presented to us as a “possibility” – supplants its linguistic, historical and scientific sense, and, is based in the dynamic of a movement of ideas and counter-hegemonic social practices. The diaspora seeks in the positive reframing of ethnical-racial relations and the Pan-Africanism, to constitute itself as a space/place that assume the anti-racism perspective and blackness positive affirmation as effective instruments for building up the discourse and practice of science.
