"BLIND FAITH, SHARP KNIFE" IN DEFENSE OF AFRO-BRAZILIAN RELIGIONS AS A TOOL FOR THE DISCUSSION OF AFRICAS IN BRAZIL
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article intends to problematize the absence of Afro-Brazilian religions in the teaching of Africa, drawing relations between academic productions about pre-colonial African societies and some characteristics investigated by numerous researchers on Afro-Brazilian religions. The relationships between societies and mobilized bibliographies serve to help, in academic assumptions, an increasingly obscure discussion in the teaching of Africa in Brazil.
