Abstract
Mestre Augusto Omolu foi ator do Odin Teatret, dirigido por Eugênio Barba, e mestre em Dança dos Orixás na Escola Internacional de Teatro Antropológico (ISTA). O mestre foi professor da Escola de Dança da Fundação Cultual da Bahia e Bailarino do Teatro Balé Castro Alves e era detentor do cargo de Ogan3 de candomblé. Fundou uma ONG – Iaô Ilê Augusto Omolu para fomento da cultura afro-brasileira, particularmente, da Dança dos Orixás. Paralelamente, ministrava seminários de Dança dos Orixás em diversos lugares pelo mundo afora.
