Mapping decolonial thinking in organizational communication a scoping review based on the prism method

Abstract
Introduction: The objective of this work is to systematically map studies about organizational communication and decoloniality, as well as to identify any knowledge gaps, in order to support further proposals of research. Method: It uses the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) method. Results: After applying filters, five (5) articles were selected for this review. Conclusion: The reviewed papers show a movement that criticizes Eurocentric premises, proposing more inclusive approaches that are aware to cultural diversity. There is a growing research field to point out the contributions of decolonial premises to the study, research and construction to a more inclusive, representative and efficient organizational communication process.
