Abstract
Abstract: This article examines the political representation of black women in the National Congress from the perspective of intersectionality and aims to investigate the reality of the political underrepresentation of this marginalized social group in the federal legislature from a theoretical point of view. The study uses a qualitative approach, based on an analysis of existing literature on political representation, intersectionality and structural racism. This study contributes to the academic debate on political representation and intersectionality, highlighting the importance of intersectional approaches to addressing the underrepresentation of black women, emphasizing that, in the implementation of public policies, the various axes that create the political issues to be addressed must be recognized.
