The MEANING OF EMANCIPATION FOR BLACK BRAZILIAN WOMEN
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this work is to outline a meaning for the movement for the emancipation of the Brazilian black woman's body, and to ask at the same time whether black women perceive themselves as emancipated. Keep in mind that the emancipation discourse can be analyzed within this work space and, from there, understand the scope of behaviors of this meaning. To this end, 27 qualitative studies set in Brazil were gathered, which only included the discourse of black women about their experiences at work, and through a meta-analysis it was possible to find common paths within these discourses. From this research it was possible to draw a meaning for emancipation and understand how this body in possession of a racial consciousness lives in search of a daily rupture of the Brazilian racist structure.
