Abstract
O jogador Tinga foi vítima de racismo durante a partida entre o time Cruzeiro e o Real Garcilaso, em Huancayo, no Peru, pela Taça Libertadores, na quarta-feira dia 12/02/2014. Os torcedores locais imitavam sons de macacos a cada vez que Tinga pegava a bola. O fato teve repercussão nacional e internacional. Pessoas de todas as tribos, clubes, partidos, classes sociais, gênero, autoridades, e a mídia manifestaram-se contra o ocorrido.
